🍜 Take a trip across Malaysia and you will experience the many different type of Laksa available from the different states. It's a journey unto itself worth planning for! From a Malaccan family's kitchen, we bring you the Nyonya Laksa (Malacca's version of curry Laksa) which is often found in the southern states of Malacca and Johor. Like the curry laksa, this version of curry laksa is slightly lighter, and has hints of sour spicy sweetness in it, owing to the lemongrass and galangal in its ingredients.

Malacca Nyonya Laksa has many admirers due to its versatility for spiciness, toppings and also creaminess. You can control the spiciness with the amount of paste you add in (also known as rempah), add in cockles, prawns, tofu, boiled eggs, fishcake and even sliced chicken to add flavors to it. For creamy and richness lovers, coconut milk is a must to recipe.

Laksa preparation is very time consuming due to the number of ingredients involved. Our Nyonya Laksa paste makes it easy for you to prepare this wonderful dish in your kitchen.

👨‍🍳COOKING INSTRUCTIONS (120g paste serves 2 to 3 pax):
1. Boil 120g of paste with 600ml to 700ml water and 100ml coconut milk. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
2. Boil and get ready noodle of your choice. (we recommend Rice Vermicelli or Mee)
3. In a bowl, assemble the noodle with accompaniment like prawns, tofu pok, sliced hard boiled egg, fish cake and all the toppings your heart desires.
4. Squeeze some lime to increase the sourness and add shredded Daun Kesom/laksa leaves (Optional).

🙋‍♂️Size Variation: 120g / 500g

120g is good for 2-3 person per meal. The bigger size is suitable if you have more guest or need to cook for more than 1 meal. For larger size pack, do adjust the ingredients proportionately.
