🍤😋Due to the good response of our recently launched Spicy Chilli Sarawak Kolo Mee, we have paired the Kolo Mee if another our bestselling Spicy Crispy Shrimp Sambal. The result is a very savory Kolo Mee that is spicy accompanied by fried dried shrimp flavor. The noodle is as springy as ever, not soft or soggy. The chili oil will gel all the noodle and flavor together.

㊙㊙Sarawak Kolo Mee is a secret gem that is steadily gaining popularity throughout Malaysia in the last 5 years. It is a Chinese style noodle which is characteristically dry, hence the name “kolo” which comes from the Cantonese translation “gon lo” or literally, “dry mix”. Its beauty lies in the simplicity of its ingredients, yet highly flavorful and addictive. Traditionally, it is made with springy egg noodles, topped with sliced BBQ pork (char siew), minced pork, fish sauce, shallots, white pepper, and fried shallots. Hence it is supposed to be really dry! Sometimes lard oil or char siew sauce is added to 'grease' the noodle a little. This has to be the biggest difference from the better known Wan Tan Mee (Wonton Noodle) that uses soy sauce and water as base.
Cooking Instructions
1. Boil noodles for 3-5 min
2. Drain the water
3. Add in toppings
4. Mix & eat

㊙㊙ 在过去的5年中,砂拉越Kolo Mee整个马来西亚稳步流行。这是一种中国风格的面条看似干捞,因此命名为“ kolo”源自粤语翻译“ gon lo”或字面意思为“ 干捞”。它的美在于其成分的简单性,却极富风味和令人上瘾。传统上,它是用鸡蛋面制成的,上面放有切成薄片的叉烧,猪肉末,鱼露,葱,白胡椒和油煎的葱。有时,加点猪油或叉烧酱,让面条更滑。这与以酱油和水为基础的广为人知的馄饨面(Won Tan Mee)应该是最大的不同。
