🥥🥥Our Pure Gula Melaka is sourced from villages in Melaka and Johor, produced using traditional methods in small batches by working directly with the locals.

The production process of Gula Melaka is not simple, the process involves manual collection which cannot be mechanized.

To make Gula Melaka, workers need to be very skillful as they need to climb up to 40 or 50 feet coconut trees🌴🥥. After stabilizing themselves on the tree, they will cut a few openings on the flower buds with a knife, and then hang the container to collect the coconut flower juice.

🧉🌼🥥Taking coconut flower juice is a high-risk task. This process is not only a dangerous process for harvesters but also an economic loss for farmers who plant coconut trees. After the flower buds are cut, they will not bloom and bear fruit, as a result, the income from coconut would be affected. 💸💰

After that, the workers will filter out the impurities and sediment in the collected flower bud juice, and then heat it into a syrup. Gradually, these juices became thicker and thicker, and the color gradually changed to yellow-brown. In this process, the control of the heat is very important.🔥🔥Once the heat is overcooked, the syrup in the steamer will be burnt. When the syrup is thick like melted chocolate, pour the syrup into a bamboo tube 🧉🎋 and wait for it to cool, harden and pack.

过后,制作Gula Melaka的工人会过滤掉收集来的汁液里头的杂质和沉淀物,然后加热煮成糖浆。渐渐的,这些汁液就越煮越浓稠,颜色也慢慢转变为黄褐色。这个过程中,火候的掌控非常重要🔥🔥,一旦煮得过火就会焦了蒸锅的糖浆。当糖浆浓稠得像融化的巧克力时,就把糖浆灌注到竹筒里🧉🎋,等待冷却,硬化和包装。
